Who We Are

After deciding to convert his dreaming talent into an architectural terminology, Kayhan Karaca started his education at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University where he received the Bachelor of Architecture degree.

Karaca has worked at various firms both abroad and Turkey. He participated in many large scale projects. Karaca worked as an architect and design manager at Istinye Park shopping centre project, Kanyon shopping centre project and Levent Loft Garden project (in chronological order).

In 2009, Karaca decided to open his own studio, Kara Architectural Design in order to reflect his gained experiences integrated with his style. Kara Architectural Design take pride in designing and constructing projects at Turkey and abroad.

Şebnem Karaca has over 10 year experience in architectural design. She completed her education in the textile program of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, started working actively in Kara Architectural Design in 2010 after gaining a short work experience in the textile.

With the success and knowledge she gained from the industry, she completed her Interior Architecture education with a full scholarship at Doğuş University Art Design Faculty Interior Architecture Department. Subsequently, she put the finishing touch to this education with the MA Program of Interior Architecture at Institute of Science and Technology of Istanbul Commerce University.Sebnem Karaca continues her professional career at Kara Architectural Design as a master interior architect and corporate partner.
